Birthday Compliments

Steve's family has a long family tradition I call "birthday compliments" that has become some of my very favorite moments of the whole year.  We gather in honor of the birthday person and go around a circle each saying some things we love and admire in that person.  Not only do you get to feel like a million bucks when it's your day, but it also builds such a closeness and family bond.  One of my top love languages is words ... well I feel like I need all five :) ... but sincere words mean a lot to me.  We for sure want to keep this tradition going in our little family.  I just wish I had more birthdays.
